Sewing Workshop @ Women's Christian College, Nungambakkam, Chennai:- 

Usha Sewing School conducted a exclusive two-days sewing workshop for WCC students on March'17. The students learned to draft and sew a saree blouse individually. 

* First day session on how to take a measurement and preparing the drafting on individual measurement.

* Second day session on how to cut the fabric and sew the blouse. 

Students shown interest to learn the making of sari blouse and loved it. Some of them have tried to design the embroidery on their blouse with the help of  Memory Craft Sewing Machine.

We would be delighted to conduct different types of sewing workshops on colleges / schools / corporate on your preferred timings. Course will be designed separately as per your need.

Women's Day Special !! 

On account of women's day, Usha Sewing School & Radio City 91.1 FM jointly conducted a different sewing workshops at various places in Chennai.

Day 3 : Workshop on Tote Bag Making

Place : Kiran Fashion School, Velachery

Day 4 : Workshop on Tutu Frock Making

Place : Gia Institute of  Fashion Technology, Gowrivakkam

Day 5 : Workshop on Kurti Making

Place : Sathiya Tailoring Institute, Besant Nagar

 

Participants are much delighted and shown their interest towards sewing. Most of them are at beginner level. They felt that Usha Janome Sewing Machines are user-friendly and made them comfort on sewing.
